Quebecor presents
the 23rd International Poetry Festival
Trois-Rivières, September 5, 2007 — Quebecor is pleased to present the 23rd annual Trois-Rivières International Poetry Festival scheduled to take place from September 28th to October 7th in Trois-Rivières.
Quebecor’s many-faceted contribution to the popular festival is well worth noting. Starting today, a multimedia promotional campaign is underway, thanks to the generous support of its affiliate members. In the coming weeks, photos of participating Québécois poets will be published alongside extracts of their work in the Journal de Montréal and Canoë. For its part, Vidéotron will offer free wireless service to organizers of the festival, and Quebecor has agreed to finance the printing costs of all publicity and promotional materials. Finally, a generous $10,000 contribution has increased the purse of the Quebecor Grand Prize of the International Poetry Festival to $15, 000. This year’s recipient is Pierre Ouellet.
