Choose a restaurant or bar and, at no additional cost, hear the poets who have come from five different continents to read to you. Be it over cocktails, lunch, or supper, let poetry become your window on the world and a passport to your vast emotional universe.

Beginning on September 28th, come take in the poetry at any of the participating venues listed in the festival programme or on our website (simply click on “program”).

Here’s how it works: As a rule of thumb, each poet, introduced by the host of that particular event, reads for three minutes, during which time restaurant patrons maintain a respectful silence. A six to ten minute interlude punctuates each reading, allowing people to return to their meals, friends, and conversations. The pattern continues until each poet on the bill has had an opportunity to read.
