Serge Basso de March (France)
Serge Basso de March was born in Verdun, France to a family of immigrant Italians. Growing up with two languages and cultures Italian and French he has always considered citizenship an important component of his life.
His years spent as an organizer and director of community centres in underprivileged neighbourhoods helped him recognize the importance of culture in education, which he has since made a priority in his work in the field. Today, he runs an alternative cultural centre in Luxembourg, which offers numerous activities in literature, poetry, fiction, and drama. A lover of song and poetry, a writer from the very first time he put pen to paper, he only recently published his first book, Contremarges, with les éditions PHI in Luxembourg.
